I had a friend who was a sonogram technician for a Catholic church in New Jersey. He told me that they had a "Bat Phone" directly to Rome in case they ever happened to "see" anything. I wondered what they were so afraid of and my creative mind drifted to scenes from Rosemary's Baby, It's Alive, The Exorcist and The Omen series. Of course, what my friend really meant was that if they ever saw something that might jeopardize the life of the mother or fetus they could call the Vatican to get permission to terminate the pregnancy. In light of the recent Roe vs. Wade decisions it sure makes for an interesting song. Maybe someone can get Hollywood on the phone.
