Rockin' Rich Lynch: SONG - Hail Atlantis 2020
This is the first song we ever recorded in a "real" studio environment. Written long before the emergence of "Atlantis Rising" magazine this one takes it's inspiration from Ignatius Donnelly and the last line in Donovan's "Atlantis". For the 2020 version we tried to envision how a live take version might go. Now sure we got there. We hope this track strikes a chord with you. Please BUY THE TRACK through the following links as that will help us record many more songs in the future - thanks!
LYRICS (Words and Music by Rich Lynch)
Verse:
I don't know
What she was thinking
When she realized
She was sinking
Did she know
What she was
coming under?
I think about her
When I hear the thunder
Chorus:
HAIL ATLANTIS
WHEN YOU SEE THE SIGNS
HAIL ATLANTIS
THESE ARE RISING TIMES
Verse:
Remember stories
'Bout that flood
Everything so misunderstood
Exactly the way
They said it would
In that battle
Between bad and good
Bridge:
Edgar Cayce
Donovan Leitch
Bimini Road washing up on the beach
Ignatius Donnelly
don't you know
the myth recorded by the great Plato
Beyond the pillars
In the middle of the sea
Hail Atlantis Rising, She's coming back to me
Chorus:
HAIL ATLANTIS
WHEN YOU SEE THE SIGNS
HAIL ATLANTIS
THESE ARE RISING TIMES
Verse:
I don't know
What she was thinking
When she realized
She was sinking
Did she know
that she was
going under?
I think about her
When I hear the thunder
Chorus:
HAIL ATLANTIS
WHEN YOU SEE THE SIGNS
HAIL ATLANTIS
THESE ARE RISING TIMES
Chorus:
HAIL ATLANTIS
HAIL ATLANTIS
AT LAST SHE'S
COME BACK TO US!
Cant' you feel it
Rising, Rising
Rising, Rising
Rising, Rising
Rising, Rising
Cant' you hear it
Rising, Rising
Rising, Rising
Rising, Rising
Rising, Rising
Cant' you see it
Rising, Rising
Rising, Rising
Rising, Rising
Rising, Rising
Don't you know, she's
Rising, Rising
Rising, Rising
Rising, Rising
Rising, Rising
