Nashville's Rockin' Rich Lynch found himself walking around The Mall at Green Hills early in 2023 when he stumbled across a pickleball court laid out in the main concourse of the shopping plaza. He initially thought the idea was ridiculous. But then the songwriter and storyteller in him took over. Seeing that the court was only an errant shot away from the Crate & Barrel and The Gap - it's easy to see how both of these stores soon found their way into the first verse of Lynch's timely and observant song.
