Rockin' Rich Lynch Plays For the Cats at True Rescue in Mt. Juliet

On Tuesday, April 22, 2025 - Nashville's Rockin' Rich Lynch had the extreme pleasure of playing a livestream for the staff and feline welcoming committee at True Rescue in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.

"That's for the cats," declared Rockin' Rich Lynch after playing in Mt. Juliet.

Lynch - a recent convert to the cat person lifestyle after conquering a lifelong allergy to the lovable furballs - presented the fitting "You Might Hear a Heart" from his just released debut album TENN SONGS in order to spotlight the great work conducted by True Rescue and the hundreds of cats and kittens that they currently have available for adoption.

True Rescue - who filmed and edited the clip as part of their ongoing Shelter Serenade Spotlight called Lynch's track "an incredibly moving and powerful song".

Rockin' Rich Lynch - who was making his first public appearance since releasing his long anticipated debut album that was recorded over the past decade in Nashville - came away feeling like similar artists who have notably worked in the animal rescue field.

"I think I'm the new Sarah McLachlan," Lynch joked after sharing the video to fans and friends that now has had over 4,000 views on the True Rescue Facebook page.

Completing the theme was a smart looking matching hat and jersey outfit provided by the pro football franchise Nashville Kats who play in Music City as part of the inaugural AF1 campaign. The Kats enthusiastically supported Lynch's ongoing pledge to only wear outfits on stage that are provided by teams who play the great game of Gridiron Football in all its forms. The additional "Claws Out" rally towels were put to good use by True Rescue who are always in need of a variety of items including cat food, litter box components and cleaning supplies.

True Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal shelter for dogs and cats who run 100% on donations and grants. They use their expanding facility for mainly cats, kittens and puppies. They are the first completely cageless animal shelter for cats in the state of Tennessee. True Rescue serves poorer counties with little or no animal control - as well as states further south - with aid provided during natural disasters and overcrowding conditions. Their motto is "Safe Hands For Animals".
