Rockin' Rich Lynch Plays the Inaugural Pickin' On The Piney Music Festival in Dickson, Tennessee

Nashville musician Rockin' Rich Lynch made an appearance at the first year Pickin' On The Piney Music Festival on Saturday, October 16, 2021 taking the stage right at high noon to play a 45 minute set of songs featuring a selection of solo acoustic and full band numbers.

Rockin' Rich Lynch was the Pirate at the Piney.

Event organizer Steve Crow introduced the artist to the crowd gathered on the idyllic and isolated grounds with a bio that read -- "Rockin' Rich Lynch is a unique songwriter who pens observations on a spectrum of thought that includes the personal, political and paranormal. Taking a cue from the 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville you will see him on stage wearing only attire that is sent to him from underdog - or, non-NFL teams - who play American Football around the globe. In 2021, Rich became one of the first musical artists in the world to receive and play a new experimental, aluminum necked six-string from Hoxey Guitars that is set to be put to use on his next studio recording."

Rich then proceeded to play eight of his patented tracks while wearing his new "9th Man" jersey sent to him by the 2021 Champions of the Indoor Football League - the Massachusetts Pirates. Taking a page from Lady Gaga's playbook Lynch then changed outfits for an autograph session and another separate set of songs played down by the river and showed off new wear from the Wiesbaden Phantoms and PNG American Football Federation in doing so.

The Pickin' On The Piney Music Festival was a two-day family friendly event that featured live music ranging from bluegrass, pop, modern folk, outlaw country all the way to classic rock to help raise funds and awareness for local first responders who were instrumental in helping the region recover from the recent devastating floods that shook Mid-Tenn. Food trucks were on site providing snacks, sandwiches and more. Performers were available for signing sessions while vendors included arts & crafts, face painting and a petting zoo. A silent auction and generous door prizes that included a pair of vacations in Florida and Gatlinburg were also available.

Other performers included Campbell's Calamity Soup, Darren T, Yesterday's Country, Mike Shipley, Songster Stash, Carol Tarsitano, Denise Benson Band, Mike Hebert, Jim Westmoreland, Terri Lynn Blues Band, Pickin' Crows, Tesa Lynn, Javelyn, Jaycee Lynne, Mickey Daniel and more.
